Play at Warrior
Registration is now open for the Hockey Marathon at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston on July 11 - 12.
What to expect as a 24 Hour Hockey player
Over 80 adult hockey players will come together to raise funds and play a continuous 24-hour hockey game to benefit LivFree, a pediatric cancer nonprofit.
The game will be played at the elite facilities of Warrior Ice Arena, training facility of the NHL Boston Bruins and Bright-Landry Hockey Center - Home of Harvard University Crimson. Participants will play, eat and sleep at the ice rink.
Players will use their passion for hockey as a platform for hope. Each participant is responsible for raising $1500. This number is significant because it is the average cost to support a LivFree family and provide children and families impacted by pediatric cancer a moment of joy. Each skater on the ice symbolically represents a family sponsored.

Player Divisions and Schedules
Whether you’re an adult league regular, a former college player, or somewhere in between, there’s a place for you in the 24-Hour Hockey Marathon. All divisions share the same ice time, amenities, swag, and unforgettable experience — the only difference is the level of play.
Division A
These players participate at an advanced to elite competitive level in adult leagues in top tiers and/or participated at a competitive level (D1-3) in college and beyond. .
Division B
B players that participate at an advanced competitive level in adult leagues in higher tiers and/or participated in college (D3-club).
Division C
Players that participate in adult league hockey at the lower tiers should join Division C. This designation is for players of all skills, some who have been playing for many years, others who have added hockey to their adults lives.
Team Placement
During registration, you’ll answer a few short questions to help us place you in the right division and form balanced teams. Each division will feature two teams that play each other throughout the 24 hours — ensuring plenty of time on the ice for everyone.
If you have questions about your placement, our LivSports team will help make sure you’re in the perfect fit for your skill level.
Want to skate with a friend or teammate? Registration is by individuals but you can request to play with specific players or goalies during registration.

Fundraising: Playing for a Purpose
The LivSports 24 Hour Hockey Marathon is more than a game — it’s about creating Moments of Joy for families impacted by pediatric cancer.
Every player on the ice represents a family that LivFree supports — meaning your effort, your fundraising, and your heart directly bring joy to a child and relief to parents who need it most.
Your Commitment
Each player commits to raising $1,500 in support of LivFree’s mission.
That $1,500 represents one family — one child’s day of joy, one moment that helps them forget about cancer and simply live free.
A credit card is collected at registration to secure your spot.
Any amount not raised by the designated fundraising deadline will be charged to the card on file.
Don’t worry — we’re here to help you every step of the way.
How We Support You
We know fundraising can feel daunting, but you’re not alone. Our team provides:

Custom flyers and social media templates to spread the word
Tips, tricks, and encouragement throughout the months leading up to the game
Our past players consistently share that, with a little effort and a lot of heart, reaching $1,000 is absolutely achievable — and incredibly rewarding.
Impact Partner Christopher’s Haven
For our Boston area 24-Hour Hockey Marathons, LivFree is proud to support Christopher’s Haven, a nonprofit that has been helping families of children undergoing pediatric cancer treatment in Boston for over 25 years.
