LivSports brings athletes of all ages together to use their love of sports as a platform for hope and to bring joy to the pediatric cancer community.


Throughout the year, LivFree hosts jamborees, camps and other sporting events across an expanding list of sports.

About LivSports

Players and attendees of a past LivSports Baseball Softball Jamboree, presented by LivFree to raise funds and awareness for children and families impacted by pediatric cancer.

LivSport’s Aims To:

  • Spark joy with children and families battling cancer by having them attend and participate in LivSports events.

  • Create a fun, sporting event for ALL athletes to participate, while inspiring them to use their platform for good.

  • Lift up other nonprofit organizations within pediatric cancer and health & wellness that can attend LivSports events to further their own mission and raise awareness for the pediatric cancer community as a whole.

  • Raise funds and awareness for LivFree’s mission of creating moments of hope and joy.

Why Sports?

Sports have long been a vital part of LivFree's mission. For years, LivFree has provided opportunities for children and their families to attend professional sporting events, offering them a chance to step away from the challenges of their cancer journey and focus on family and fun.

Building on this tradition, LivFree began engaging with the Connecticut youth sports community to raise funds for these joyful experiences. Through events like the LivFree Baseball Jamboree, the transformative power of youth sports beyond just fundraising was discovered. These events fostered a sense of camaraderie and community that transcended the usual competitive nature of youth sports, creating a unique atmosphere of unity and support.

Inspired by this impact, LivFree has launched LivSports: a platform that harnesses the widespread appeal and accessibility of youth sports to spread hope, build awareness, and rally support for the pediatric cancer community. By integrating our cause with something so deeply ingrained in our communities, we aim to create lasting change and hope for those who need it most.

Part of the LivSports mission is to provide athletic opportunities for pediatric cancer patients and their siblings.
