LivRun Club
LivRun Club is a purpose-driven running community within LivSports that brings runners together to train, race, and fundraise as a team. Our running club is transforming individual miles into a collective impact for kids and families facing childhood cancer. Run with like-minded endurance athletes who want to use their passion for running as a platform for hope and joy!
Race Options + Flexibility
Every runner receives automatic entry into our two team races. Then based on membership level, you will receive entry into 2-5 additional races of your choice throughout the year. Our race catalogue is subject to change, and we’re actively working to secure additional race opportunities throughout the year—including more high-demand races. As LivRun grows, we expect the list of offerings to grow with it.
Community + Team Runs
Beginning in Spring 2026, LivRun will host optional, bi-weekly team runs. Members will have the opportunity to build relationships with fellow runners of all abilities, find encouragement and accountability, and be part of a supportive community. Along the way, runners will also deepen their connection to LivFree’s mission and the families we serve. Initially the races will start at LivFree’s offices in Trumbull, with potential for different locations through the year.
Marathons + Major Races
We are excited to expand into the world of marathons! The team is currently working to secure access to select marathons and higher-profile events. If we’re able to lock in bibs, we’ll release a separate marathon opportunity later in the year for LivRun members.

If you have a scheduling conflict with a pre-selected team race, we’ll work with you to swap into another eligible event whenever possible.

LivSports partners with youth leagues, clubs, schools, and adult teams that want to play with purpose. By hosting a camp, jamboree, or special event, sports programs can bring their athletes together to support pediatric cancer families while strengthening team culture and community connection.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of LivSports. From helping run events to supporting athletes and families on site, volunteers bring energy, compassion, and teamwork to every moment. Whether you have a few hours or want a recurring role, your time directly creates joy and hope for pediatric cancer families.

At LivFree, our mission is to support children and families impacted by pediatric cancer by helping create moments of hope and joy.
Moments of Joy are meaningful experiences—big or small—that provide opportunities for connection, healing, renewed hope and joy. They offer childhood cancer patients, along with their siblings and parents, a break from hospital visits and hard days. They help families make lasting memories and experience hope through moments of joy.

Why Sports?
Sports have long been a vital part of LivFree's mission. For years, LivFree has provided opportunities for children and their families to attend professional sporting events, offering them a chance to step away from the challenges of their cancer journey and focus on family and fun.
Building on this tradition, LivFree began engaging with the Connecticut youth sports community to raise funds for these joyful experiences. Through events like the LivFree Baseball Jamboree, the transformative power of youth sports beyond just fundraising was discovered. These events fostered a sense of camaraderie and community that transcended the usual competitive nature of youth sports, creating a unique atmosphere of unity and support.
Inspired by this impact, LivFree has launched LivSports: a platform that harnesses the widespread appeal and accessibility of youth sports to spread hope, build awareness, and rally support for the pediatric cancer community. By integrating our cause with something so deeply ingrained in our communities, we aim to create lasting change and hope for those who need it most.
