Over 80 adult hockey players will come together to raise funds and play a continuous 24 hour hockey game to benefit LivFree, a pediatric cancer nonprofit.
The game will be played at the elite facilities of Munn Ice Arena - Home of Michigan State University Spartans. Participants will play, eat and sleep at the ice rink.
Players will use their passion for hockey as a platform for hope. Each participant is responsible for raising $1500. This number is significant because it is the average cost to support a LivFree family and provide children and families impacted by pediatric cancer a moment of joy. Each skater on the ice symbolically represents a family sponsored.
