What to expect at a LivSports Camp
The LivSports Youth Baseball Camp is an uplifting environment where athletes of all abilities grow both on and off the field. Whether you are a beginner or travel ball player, campers receive age-appropriate instruction focused on fundamentals, skill development, and game understanding. Instruction is led by positive, experienced coaches who are passionate about the game.
Additionally, the LivSports Champion’s Curriculum emphasizes compassion, confidence, and teamwork. We create a fun, safe atmosphere where players are encouraged to work hard, support one another, and enjoy the game, all while learning life lessons that extend far beyond baseball.
Athletes are given the chance to use the lessons they learn to help accomplish the mission of LivFree, a pediatric cancer nonprofit that provides moments of joy to kids and families in the childhood cancer community. All this to prove the power of sport and strength of using passion as a platform for good.

Camp Schedule
A typical day at camp is fast-paced and balance skill development drills, scrimmages, game situations, and mini games focused on having fun and building camaraderie amongst campers. The camp day begins at 8 AM and conclude at 12 PM. Embedded in the camp day will also be messaging about LivFree and their mission. Campers will hear stories every day about kids and families that LivFree has helped, so they can better understand the impact their participation and fundraising provide.

Age Groups & Ability
Camp is open to players of all abilities. Our instructors will meet players where they are and adjust instruction so it is safe and age-appropriate. Campers are split into three groups: Prospects (Ages 6-8), Rookies (Ages 9-10), and Big Leaguers (Ages 11-12). If a player demonstrates the ability or desire to join another group, our staff will place players where they will get the most out of the experience.
-

Coaches & Counselors
LivSports prides ourselves on hiring passionate and knowledgeable coaches who embody the traits that we preach through our Champion’s Curriculum. Our coaches are empathetic and compassionate, and are committed to building the confidence of our campers while enhancing their baseball knowledge. Our coaches have a wide array of coaching and playing experience and campers will cycle through different coaches each day, getting to learn and build relationships with our whole staff. Coaches are assisted by energetic High School players and counselors in training.

Facilities & Weather
The North End Little League Baseball Complex features three beautiful turf baseball fields. Each age group will have a dedicated field to play on throughout the camp week. In the case of inclement weather, depending on the severity, there is a chance that a camp day will be cancelled or cut short. With turf fields, if rainy conditions are mild or brief, the fields will remain safe and playable. Each field also features covered dugouts that can be utilized to provide shelter in the event of rain. Weather updates will be sent out to all participants and their families whenever necessary.

Coaches in Training
Our camps welcome aspiring counselors who would like to volunteer their time to be a Counselor in Training. CIT’s will work alongside our head coaches and be given autonomy to organize games or drills that can enhance their leadership qualities. CIT’s must be at least 13 years of age and have a background playing baseball. If you are interested in learning more about our CIT program, please email tfeldman@livfreetoday.org.

Pricing & Fundraising
Thanks to our generous sponsors and grant support, the cost for a full week of camp is just $100 per camper (plus processing fees). This fee includes five days of instruction and a LivSports camp t-shirt.
As part of every LivSports initiative, campers are also encouraged to give back by participating in fundraising that supports children fighting pediatric cancer through LivFree’s Moments of Joy. Each camper is given a suggested fundraising goal of $150. While we work to motivate and support every athlete in reaching this goal (and beyond), families are not financially responsible for meeting fundraising goals, and no additional charges will be applied.
How We Support You
We know fundraising can feel daunting, but you’re not alone. Our team provides:
A personalized fundraising page you can customize and shareable links
Tips, tricks, and encouragement throughout the months leading up to the game
Our past campers consistently share that, with a little effort and a lot of heart, reaching $150 is achievable — and incredibly rewarding.
The Impact
When campers hit the fields, they’re not just playing for fun or competition — they’re playing for families who are fighting the toughest battle imaginable.
They’re fundraising efforts and the community we build at LivSports camps, help provide:
Moments of Joy for children facing pediatric cancer
Memories of hope for families who need a lift
Connection and meaning for every player who chooses to make a difference
This is more than a week of camp.
It’s building character and community.
It’s recognizing the power of joy.
It’s what LivFree is all about.
Thank you to our sponsors and supporting programs.
