LivSports is a program presented by LivFree. The mission of LivSports is to empower youth athletes to use their passion for sports as a platform for good.

24 Hour Adult Hockey Marathon

In Summer 2024, LivFree took the idea of a 24 hour hockey game and started planning what would become one of LivFree’s biggest, most successful events to date. In March 2025, more than 100 skaters, goalies and referees came together to play hockey for 24 hours straight at the world-class Martire Family Arena at Sacred Heart University.

Together those players and sponsors raised more than $170,000 in the inaugural year. In addition to the financial success, the event allowed LivSports to execute its mission of creating moments of joy and hope by hosting an opening showcase with popular hockey influencers and children and families impacted by pediatric cancer.

The 2026 Marathon planning is already underway, as well as work to expand the event to other parts of the country. Stay tuned for more to come!

How LivSports Camp Pricing Works

At the LivSports Hockey Camp, the LivSports Champion’s Curriculum and guiding principles are developmentally adapted for each specific age group and are purposefully ingrained in all the activities and drills participants will take part in.

In addition, athletes are given the chance to use the lessons they learn to help accomplish the mission of LivFree, a pediatric cancer nonprofit that provides moments of joy to kids and families in the childhood cancer community. All this to prove the power of sport and strength of using passion as a platform for good.

The only fee players pay up front is registration ($50).

Players then commit to raise a minimum amount for LivFree and their mission to provide moments of joy to children impacted by pediatric cancer.

At registration, each player receives a donation webpage that they can customize and share within their community to reach their fundraising goals.

If you are short of your fundraising goal by the end of camp, the player will be charged the remaining minimum.

This approach provides players and families an affordable camp opportunity that also empowers athletes to use their passion of sports for a greater good.
